It was great to see so many of you down at the lake yesterday (11 April) for your first outing on the water this year. The weather – although chilly to begin with – was pretty much as one would expect for an early Spring Day. The NE breeze was a brisk 10 to 12 knots with gusts approaching 20 knots – so enough to blow the winter cobwebs away whilst needing you all to keep your wits about you!
Well may it continue to be thus. Cheers for now 🙂
That was quite a good race for me, considering I had to do a unforced 360 to avoid hitting a bank (and a fisherman) at full throttle! 🙂 A big thanks thanks to Steve for enabling the foot peddles and to the race officer for rigging #109!
